Where Has the Time Gone? – Handcrafted Polymer Clay Egg Clock
Time is a mystery—especially for this little bluebird! Where Has the Time Gone? is a stunning, one-of-a-kind egg-shaped desk clock, featuring a rich, flowing pattern of reds and golds created using the intricate mokume gane technique. Handcrafted with my own original tools, this unique polymer clay design ensures no two pieces are ever the same.
Key Features:
A Whimsical Timepiece: The phrase "Where has the time gone?" is written on a delicate banner across the top—perfect for those moments when time seems to slip away.
A Curious Nesting Place: A tiny bluebird perches atop this super-sized egg, bewildered by its mysterious presence. Rather than resting in the usual spot, her nest (with its own tiny eggs!) sits right on top of the clock, making this a truly unexpected and playful design.
Mokume Gane Mastery: The clock is adorned with a beautiful, organic swirl of reds and golds, a polymer clay technique that creates mesmerizing depth and movement in the pattern. The egg rests securely in a golden flowerpot base, with green vines and leaves spilling over the edges, adding an elegant, nature-inspired touch.
Functional & Decorative: The battery-operated clock face is removable, making it easy to adjust the time when needed. While this piece is solid and stable, we recommend placing it in a clutter-free space to fully appreciate its artistry.
