This glass polymer clay burnishing tool features super smooth surfaces to help smooth rough edges! Better than fingers! This is my FAVORITE tool for polymer clay.
Made from 3/8” thick glass rods they are kiln annealed to harden them. They work great on my table and I have dropped mine on my carpet with no affect. However they ARE glass, so use care not to drop on hard floors or you will need to replace it!
It is ideal for smoothing and rounding just about anyplace on my soft clay pieces. The paddle end works to flatten sharp edges and the rod itself can be rolled around any shape of clay to even out the cut sides. The ball end makes great dimples and will smush out excess clay while it smooths the contact points.
Average size is 6" long - just right for my hand! Some are shorter and some longer, but each one does the trick! These are handmade so each one is slightly different in overall shape and length.
