Grow!

When spring comes around all thoughts go to growing and sunshine. Everything grows! Just when we are bemoaning the continuous rain and dark and the cool weather that seems to linger for way to long with the occasional snow….it changes!

We wake up one day and wonder what happened to winter! Ok, it is still around to some extent, but we suddenly realize that a lot has been growing under our noses that we just didn't see. 

That applies to us too.

We don't stop growing.

It's also the reason that as a selling artist I have a hard time working on autumn designs in the spring. I just can't do it. I'm always living in the moment and so is my art.

One of the features of my clocks is that they don't have a plain back. They are a 360 degree piece of art. Which is why I work over these to make them viewable from every angle. EVERY inch and part is considered and filled with pattern and designs and on the back…AND a verse. 

I collect stamps with uplifting verses and messages. I never know when I start creating what the verse will be for the clock I am working on. Occasionally a verse will come to me and I find I don't have a stamp. So I either go looking for one or I make one. (I've got lots of letter stamps to do that.) Which is why if you look back to my original design in my sketchbook you won't find that verse there. 

I am confident that the person that this message is meant for will find this clock. They always do.
