Tools Made in the USA! - Non-stick Surface
Just finished a conversation today about how hard it is to find products made in the USA. Thing is, there really is a lot of things made here, though. China spends a lot of time buying up advertising and the internet is one big catalog of STUFF! So finding homeland produced items can be tough.
However, it definitely is worth the effort!
It was time to reorder materials for the Non-Stick work surfaces that are so popular with metal clay and polymer clay artists. So I went on the hunt. Most of it has been made in China even though the companies selling it are based in the USA.
Ureka! The search was worth it because I found a company in the USA that makes a product that is (I think) 10 times better than the one made overseas. The plus is cost wise it is only slightly more than the cheaper brand. I’ll be sticking with this company now and adding one more Made in America product to our line of clay tools.
HOORAY FOR MADE IN THE USA!!!
