The Linda's Pin Tool jewelry and texturing tool features a sturdy handmade handle so you can work in tight places! I'm a big fan of Viking Knit. Once I learned to do it, I've created lots of wire chains for my jewelry.
There is one little tool that is essential to the process - the lowly push pin. But using a plain one will just wear your fingers out! Voila! Linda's Pin Tool was born! A push pin needle point imbedded in an easy-to-grasp handle.
These aren't your average push pins - they are extra long and stronger than store bought ones making them much easier to use for this application. They are embedded in a handmade handle with colorful patterned polymer clay. Each one is cured to harden the clay and make them oh so comfortable in your hand.
Though originally intended for viking knit, there are many uses for the tool in the creative studio! Because these are each hand made, they are not exactly alike in size or pattern. Pop a cork on the end to protect you from getting poked when not in use and makes a nice little cover for storing in your work kit.
They average about 2 - 3" long. The point is tool steel and thick enough to handle most wire work. Mine has lasted for several years and is still going strong! You can choose your favorite, but realize each is an original!
