The ONE AND ONLY Linda's Lid metal clay syringe holder features a sealed container that keeps syringes from drying out and wasting your precious silver clay!
The original Linda’s Lid that was introduced in 2006 to the instructors at Art Clay World USA, is still the most popular syringe holder around!
The glass jar provides a stable, solid base for the holder.
The four hole lid means you can store up to 4 syringes with different size tips at the ready.
The secure plastic lid retains the water level in the jar to keep syringes perfectly hydrated with no threat of drying out when all the holes are plugged with syringes or corks.
Any residue in the jar (the result of natural capillary action in the water) is fully reclaimable by pouring into a dish and allowing the water to evaporate.
Two extra corks are included to plug unused holes which will minimize the chance for water evaporation out of the jar. It is best to keep each hole capped with corks or syringes.
Easy to travel with as the jar can be completely sealed by either syringes or corks in every hole. (Hint: wrap the plunger extension on each syringe with foam packing material to keep it from extruding clay into the jar if accidentally plunged)
Used by many prominent metal clay artists around the world!
MSRP is $16.95 - $15.95 Buy direct from the manufacturer - Naturescapes Studio!
NOTE: It is recommended that you monitor the water level if you will be leaving full syringes in the jar for long periods of time - 6 months or more - depending on your environment. There is a slow evaporation action that will deplete the water level and could result in dried out syringes.
