Don't neglect to clean your extruder barrel with this heavy duty Nylon Brush!
Why? Keeping the tube clean means that the excess clay stuck on the inside of the tube after using can and WILL transfer to any new clay color used next. I think it makes a difference.
These hard to find long handle brushes just don't appear on store shelves do they? Or even online. I've been searching for them for a while now so when I found this USA company I was ecstatic!
14" handle means you can clean your extruder tube of excess clay easily, both the short and long tubes. You just push it in and out, or all the way thru it until the tube is squeaky clean!
However, now the brush is full of clay bits. ???
BUT If you add on the the 6 Steps Cleaning Extruders tip sheet then you can keep the brush clean too! That is why I added a little plastic tube on the end of the exposed sharp brush wires.
Works like a dream! With a little practice you'll be a magic extruder cleaning expert!
Brush size is 3/4" diameter and is a tight fit on some extruders.
