Each of these tools have been selected for work with our Clay Punch Cutters™ providing you with a cutting kit all in one place. These are the ones I use on my workbench.
Buy the kit or each tool individualy:
SCALPEL/KNIFE - Super sharp and pointed you can trace and cut clay cleanly and accurately. Easy to hold, the blades are replaceable. But keep it capped or in a tube to preserve the tip and cutting edge.
TISSUE BLADE - Use to cut blocks of clay, long straight edges in sheets, and slice off thin veneers of clay. Really sharp, keep stored in a container to travel with. The notch in the top edge indicates the 'safe' side to hold onto so you don't cut you fingers!
RAZOR BLADE - Sometimes a short straight blade is needed to cut off ends of blocks of clay both raw and baked polymer. Having a razor blade with a covered edge makes this a handy tool for all kinds of work. (These are available in another listing in a set of 5 if you need extra)
NEEDLE TOOL - Often used to poke holes and prod edges, this tool is also an alternative cutting tool for some areas where a knife doesn't maneuver well. Some of my students have had better luck cutting around templates with this tool instead of a scalpel/knife.
BUDSETTER TOOL - This is my go-to tool for lifting and placing the appliqués made with the Clay Punch Cutters™! The double pronged points are small enough not to leave noticeable damage in the clay, but also keep the shape level and easy to place. I LOVE IT!
